    • 02/07/09 : Third Annual Review


    All the SP leaders were invited by the EC in Brussels. The review took place in the presence of two external reviewers. The minor changes in the technical work and budget were explained and justified by the SB. As a result, the EC gave its approval to pursue the project with the new plan and gave a favourable opinion as to its chances of success.

    13-14/05/09 : Third Year General Assembly


    The meeting was co-hosted by the University of Twente and BTG (Biomass Technology Group) in Enschede, on the premises of the university.

    This year, the meeting was not only the opportunity to review the work to date, but also to assess how to best allocate the remaining resources. The partners agreed on the main priorities based on the achievements after 3 years of research. As a result some minor modifications were implemented on the work plan and the associated budget.


    26/06/08: Second Project Annual Review


    This was carried out by the European Commission, with the Sub-Project leaders.

    The EC concluded again that the project should achieve its objectives on time, within budget.

    14-15/05/08: Second Year General Assembly



    This meeting was held on the premises of the CNRS in Lyon.

    The objectives of this meeting were to review the progress of the project after two years, and to work on the contractual reports for the European Commission. It was also the opportunity to organise several cross-SP technical workshops and to visit the CNRS.

     

    21-25/05/07: Biofuel course organised by TKK

    22-23/05/07: First Year General Assembly Meeting



    A visit of VTT facilities was also organised for the interested parties.

    This meeting was held in the Scandic Grand Marina Hotel in Helsinki.

    The objectives of this meeting were to review the progress of the project and to work on the contractual reports for the European Commission.

     

    01/05/07: Start of the second year of the project


     

     

    19-21/06/06: Project Kick Off Meeting



    The BIOCOUP Consortium at the Kick-Off Meeting

    This meeting was held on Shell premises in Amsterdam and gathered all the BIOCOUP partners as well as representatives from the European Commission.

    The main objective was to review the technical, managerial and administrative aspects of the BIOCOUP project.

    A visit of SHELL laboratories involved in the project was also organised.
