    General description


    METabolic applies cutting edge tools of biotechnology to design and engineer new biosynthetic pathways to create new whole cell biotransformation for the substitution of existing chemical syntheses in part or as a whole. Our technologies allow us to shorten development time, to improve product yield, decrease by-product, save on raw materials costs and reduce environmental impact.The first set of applications is focusing on the replacement of chemical synthesis using propylene as raw material because its increasing price. The targeted products are natural L methionine, acrylic acid and propylene glycol.
